Minimum job qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in social work
- Minimum of two (2) years' supervisory experience in a medical facility
- Preferred: Registered with the Academy of Certified Social Workers
- Proficient in English
- Knowledgeable about nursing care facility regulations
- Strong decision-making and leadership skills
Job duties:
- Develop and administer department policies and procedures
- Stay current on federal and state regulations, recommending policy changes
- Participate in community and discharge planning for residents
- Conduct empathetic interviews with residents and families
- Complete administrative tasks and submit reports to the Administrator
